Christian (he/they) is a full time arborist and part time Tubist. He started studying tuba during his sophomore year at Hagerty High School in Oviedo, FL. He has since traveled around the U.S. touring with the St. Olaf Band, while also obtaining a B.A. in music from the College. While studying at St. Olaf, he gained a passion for rock climbing, taking a job at Vertical Endeavors as a climbing coach his senior year. His love for the outdoors and climbing brought him to his current position as a Technical Arborist for Rainbow Treecare out of Minnetonka, MN. Collaborating with Bur Oak Brass is his favorite way to keep music rooted in his life. When he’s not aerial or in rehearsals, he’s at home with his wife, Alissa, and two cats.
